Katie is new to the Lake Norman area and veterinary medicine but has been working in the pet industry since 2007. She has a bachelor’s degree in equine sciences and business from Colorado State University. Katie grew up riding horses and working in barns.
She has 8 years of working in a natural pet store that specialized in holistic nutrition and care.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys gardening, hiking with her dogs, and playing and watching ice hockey. She has also taken 2 of her dogs to national dog agility competitions.
