John was born and raised in Missouri and has been around animals as long as he can remember. One of the earliest things he remembers as a child at age 3 was really wanting to communicate with animals. He started working in the field as a kennel assistant at 16 and has worked his way up ever since. He has a background in Theriogenology, Emergency, General Practice, Law Enforcement, Orthopedics and Management. He has lived in Missouri, California, New Jersey and North Carolina twice.
Outside the office, he spends a lot of time hiking, working on photography, writing and beekeeping!
