Karen was born in Ecuador. She moved with her family to the US when she was 4, lived in South Carolina for 3 years, and has lived in Charlotte ever since. She has wanted to work with animals ever since she was a child. Her passion is in wildlife and exotics. She interned at the NC Zoo Wildlife Rehab Center in 2016. Karen graduated from vet tech school in 2021. Karen has two cats, Toby the tabby DSH, and Zoey the Siamese.
She loves to travel and loves spending a lot of time with her family. Karen has a big family that is spread across the states, so there’s always a birthday/graduation/wedding/holiday to celebrate together. We’re so glad Karen’s travels have landed her at Whole Pet!
