Tina Capparell

Dr. Tina Capparell is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Originally from northeastern Pennsylvania, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware.

Becoming a veterinarian is the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. While she has special interests in surgery, dermatology, preventive medicine, and rehabilitation, Dr. Capparell enjoys all aspects of general practice and values the opportunity to build lasting relationships with pets and their families throughout every stage of life. Her interest in rehabilitation stems from her experience as a collegiate cross-country and track & field athlete, where she developed an appreciation for the importance of recovery, mobility, and performance. During veterinary school, she pursued training in canine rehabilitation through the Certified Companion Animal Rehabilitation Therapist (CCAT) program at North Carolina State University.

Dr. Capparell believes rehabilitation can play a vital role in helping pets recover from surgery and injury, improve mobility and comfort as they age, and support successful weight management. She looks forward to working closely with pet owners to develop individualized treatment plans that help their companions live healthier, more active lives.

Outside of the clinic, Tina enjoys staying active through running, cycling, and paddleboarding with her pug, Cappuccino. She also enjoys cooking, exploring dog-friendly restaurants and coffee shops, traveling, hiking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Capparell is excited to become part of the community and looks forward to meeting you and the pets who bring so much joy to your life.
