I thoroughly enjoy what I do. I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I can remember. I’ve had just about every type of animal at some point throughout my life and always enjoyed the husbandry aspect of animal care. As I became older and more interested and educated in science, this morphed into a love for medicine. I have a special love for reef aquariums.
I attended North Carolina State Veterinary School and graduated in 2016. I was first introduced to Whole Pet in 2021. Their integrative approach to medicine was interesting to me, and I have learned a lot since being here. The holistic side of medicine is not my specialty, but I am very grateful to have more toolboxes available to help our patients and clients.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and studying theology. I am currently working towards obtaining my Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies with a focus in Marriage and Family at Holy Apostle’s College and Seminary. The remainder of my free time I spend within my vocation as husband and father. I especially love playing baseball and softball with my kids.
I reside in Hampstead with my wife Heidi and our six children: Ayah, Violet, Fitz, Rey, Teddy, and Josephine. My family and I are active parishioners at All Saint’s Catholic Church in Hampstead, NC where I enjoy teaching faith formation.
